Jamaica

Jamaica was a remarkable experience in fact.  I've not been exposed to such a rich culture so divergent from my experiences thus far.  The team were all very kind towards me, helping to get me started and acclimatized to the new environment and the nature of seeing 200 + needy patients in a short period of time.  I was particularly moved by how concerned and caring the Doctors on our team are.  Very gracious giving individuals.  I was fed well by our hosts at the home we stayed at for four days.  As well, I got to experience two all inclusive resorts, an interesting variety of foods I've never eaten before (Including goat, which Dr. Jones pursued to have me try).   Dr. Jones was considerate to spend some time initially with me to help me feel comfortable with everyone.  

It was a real pleasure participating and I'm grateful I had the chance to go, and with such a fine group of people.  I enjoyed everyones company.  

Thank you for all your help as well. The experience was remarkable.
